  • The Flight Blight Rating is a simple score between 0-100 which is based on a complex algorithm involving the processing of over 100 million aviation data points and covering 190 million properties worldwide.

    The algorithm pinpoints the location of a property and then looks at the volume of flights above it within a two mile radius, during the previous 12 months. It then looks at the altitude of these flights, the type of aircraft and decibel impact.

  • The Flight Blight Report provides a detailed analysis of the information which underpins the Flight Blight Rating.

    For each property, the Report shows a breakdown of the volume of aircraft flying over a property for each of the previous 12 months, and the day of the week and time of day.

    It also highlights aircraft by type, including commercial and leisure aircraft, business jets, military and others, and provides indicative decibel impact at ground level.

    Finally, it provides recommendations for home buyers as to what to do next.
